Photo Essay of Construction Project Next Door
-
Backyard
showing trailer (been parked there for 6 mos.) and stacked lumber under snow. There is an aluminum extension ladder on the ground just in front of the "work area". The number on the trailer is disconnected.
-
Rear
of house showing new covered deck area. Note how new roof drains directly on new projecting window box. Though front slope of house, garage, and new deck coverings received new rooves, the flat shed roof (quite unorthodox for Minnesota, as piled snow demonstrates) did not. Previous owner patched leaks every other year or so. We can't wait to see how her "designers" solve this problem.
-
Old kitchen appliances and furniture
on half constructed deck out back where hot tub is to be installed.
-
front porch
New, actually a deck (used pressure-treated 2*4's rather than TIG). Like the Home Depot Special front door? Note how old door and constuction materials stuck in snow match more of the same at the back of the house. Do you suppose houses without siding are appropriate for Minnesota winters?
- Front "work area"

I don't think this company
will be getting any more work from this neighborhood. Note new lumber behind sign and screen door.
- Robison's house
(1905) just beyond Christine's. They are nice people. Like our streetlights?
